This time we are delighted to bring you the goose bump inducing black butterflyfrom the indisputably talented Mpho Sebina. Black butterflyis a gorgeous song that is very reminiscent of Erika Badu’s beautifully soulful style. Ms Sebina is flawless and makes it sound ridiculously easy!
Having started experimenting with making music in 2015, Mpho is fairly new to the music industry. However, what’s not in doubt is her undeniable raw talent. Based on her sound, it’s not surprising that she draws inspiration from powerhouse singers such as Sade, Erikah Badu and Mariah Carey. Her music cleverly marries R&B with neo-soul genres, deliciously interspersed with Setswana aspects. With such raw talent, her star could shine ever so brightly if nurtured. Definitely one to watch!
