The award includes a curated tourism experience at the Botswana’s Okavango Delta. BITC client, Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group, has pledged to host the Billboard African Award winner at their flagship property, the renowned Chief’s Camp.

“This is another partnership worth appreciating as we see our local private sector coming together to support BITC’s efforts towards promoting and positioning Botswana globally,” officials said.

BITC is working with stakeholders to explore the full potential of the GVP partnership and ensure Botswana benefits meaningfully. Through the partnership, GVP will establish the regional headquarters for its media brands—Billboard, TIME, Robb Report, and Rolling Stone (MENA region)—in Botswana.
