Public Notice: Botswana National Parks stop accepting foreign currencies

The Department of Wildlife and National Parks (DWNP) in the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism announced this week that with effect from 1st April 2020 it will stop accepting all foreign currency as means of payment.

The press release advised clients to use the local currency (BW PULA) and credit/debit cards where points of sale machines are available for payment. It further urged people to use bureau de change providers to facilitate foreign exchange services.
