Kavango Resources PLC said Friday that it has confirmed an extension to a mineralised banded iron formation at the Ditau Project, Botswana.
The mining company said that it has been able to establish an extension of the mineralised banded iron formation of at least 470 meters, intercepted at target i10 at the hole DITDD004.
Kavango added that this could represent a large-scale, continuous system that is prospective for lode gold mineralisation.
The company said it is currently in the process of cutting core to send for assay testing.
Shares at 0815 GMT were up 0.05 pence, or 4.55%, at 1.15 pence.
