2017 School Calendar
The Botswana government this week issued the 2017 school calendar, and here it is! Although some may think it’s a little late in the day, it’s still handy because not everyone is always able to remember all the dates. For that reason, we decided to post it on YourBotswana for your convenience.

| Term Period > | 10 January – 11 April | 65 days |
| Vacation > | 12 April – 1 May | 14 days |
| Term 2 | ||
| Term Period > | 2 May – 14 July | 53 days |
| Vacation > | 17 July – 31 July | 11 days |
| Term 3 | ||
| Term Period > | 1 August – 1 December | 82 days |
| Mid-Term Break > | 25 September – 2 October | 6 days |
| Vacation > | 2 December – 8 January (2018) | 26 days |
Total number of School days: 200 days. NB: Term 1 – 2018 starts on the 9th January
