Botswana receives COVID-19 medical supplies from Alibaba boss, Jack Ma

The Assistant Minister for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration, Dumezweni Mthimkhulu last night received a donation of medical supplies on behalf of President Masisi and the people of Botswana at the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport.

The medical supplies haul including 100,000 masks, 20,000 testing kits, 1,000 protective suits donated by the Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation will be used to help the country’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Director of Health Services, Dr Malaki Tshipayagae, the protective items are to be used by health personnel.
