President Masisi appoints cabinet ministers

President Mokgweetsi Masisi this Wednesday appointed Botswana’s new cabinet from the 12th Parliament. A swearing in ceremony at the Office of the President followed the appointment of the legislators.

In an unprecedented move, HE Masisi replaced almost every minister, bar Eric Molao, Fidelis Molao and Unity Dow. The cabinet was in Kasane on Friday for their orientation ahead of the State of the Nation address, expected to be held on the 18th of November.

The orientation is held under the theme ‘Enhancing capacity to promote good governance in the era of a knowledge-based economy.’
