You can now renew AND have your vehicle registration licence delivered to you from the comfort of your home/office via a unique channel called Teleservices.
This week when news of BotswanaPost introducing tele-services reached YourBotswana, we were very excited to see what this new offer would bring. While this new initiative is commendable and will go a long way to reducing queues, save time and offer customers much-needed convenience, I would urge BotswanaPost go one further and offer online services. The new development requires the customer to email their details to BotswanaPost, whose staff will need to feed it into the system. However, to my mind, if people are able to email the details through, it makes more sense to have a system in place through which they can do it themselves.
Not only would that save BotswanaPost a lot of time, it would also give customers control. Of course, not everyone would embrace such a big departure from the norm because let’s face it; people generally shy away from change. However, there are those of us who would relish that sort of thing. Just something for you to mull over, BotswanaPost 🙂
