Orange Botswana Has Launched First Botswana Smart Store

Orange Botswana has launched a Smart Store at Airport Junction Mall, Gaborone. The Smart Store, the first of its kind in the telecommunications industry in Botswana, leverages the company’s passion for innovation and excellent customer experience. The store opened On November 15, 2016.

Orange Botswana says the Smart Store is aimed at enhancing customer experience through interactive means, to create a truly unique and exceptional digital experience.

The Smart Store enables customers to learn more about the brand, its various products and how Orange Botswana is working to add value to what matters most to them.

Speaking at the official launch, Orange Botswana CEO, Dr. Patrick Benon said the Smart Store is strategically positioned to meet customers’ diverse needs.

He said that orange Botswana had listened to what theirs customers need, what matters to them most and based on that, they strive for continued excellence in responding to customer needs.

He explained that this is because for them, customer experience is paramount and their aim is to add value to the lives of their customers by creatively connecting them at all times, whether at home or work.

The Orange Smart Store provides customers with a ‘seamless, interactive digital experience’, with all devices in the store readily connected and available for self-service.

It has features including Wi-Fi  Hotspots, giving customers full access to high-speed Wi-Fi in-store.

It also has shelf units through which customers will be able to access a selection of Orange products to explore further. This section offers various products such as state of the art headsets, while ‘at home’ customers will experience the DStv offer, display of devices such as tablets and smart phones for customers to try out.

There’ll be an Interactive Digital Screen through which customers will learn more about some of the latest Orange promotions. Through Smart Gates – Orange will display adverts, promotional videos marketing new products, giving customers information about all that Orange has to offer while waiting to be served.
